Recently, an annual customer satisfaction survey for US users showed that Apple and Samsung tied for first place this year, and Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 was named the most popular mobile phone of the year. The survey team interviewed 19,658 people between April 2018 and March 2019 and came up with the results of this year’s survey. The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) shows that both companies scored 81 points, thanks to Samsung’s score of 1% higher than the previous year. The Galaxy Note 9 has a user satisfaction score of 86, while the iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone SE scored 83 points. These iPhones score the same as Moto G, Samsung’s Galaxy J7 Prime and S8+. However, Samsung also has the lowest-scoring product Galaxy J3, which scores 77 points. The company rarely promotes its J-series phones in North America, just as a cheap alternative to mobile phones. ACSI said that Galaxy Note 9 users like its 6.4-inch screen and a variety of features. One topic that users have repeatedly mentioned is that although they are satisfied with the communication function on the mobile phone, they are still disappointed with the battery life, and even the iPhone XR will not last longer than one day.
